Katherine Baldanoff

With 30 years of owning, riding and being around horses, Katherine is our equine expert and has a keen understanding and awareness of the risks and concerns that horse owners have, whether they are pleasure riders, breeders or involved in equestrian businesses.

Owning, riding and working with horses involves a plethora of risks that are different depending on whether you are an owner, a rider, or work with horses in any one of a variety of capacities (farriers, vets, horse trainers, riding coaches, physiotherapists, property owners or event organisers).

Riders and owners face risks of personal injury as well as injury to their horse and all sorts of medical emergencies can arise at home in the paddock, during transit or whilst attending events.

As a co-founder of Ceres Insurance Group, Katherine also brings a range of experiences to the company which have been developed over a career spent working both in Australia and Asia.
